​The African Diaspora Connection was founded by International Development and Public Administration Practitioner Jessica Kanya-Ngambi in 2020 to strengthen Africa and diaspora centered initiatives through expert guidance, cultural engagements, advocacy, and resource mobilization.

About The Founder

Jessica Kanya-Ngambi is a seasoned International Development and Public Administration practitioner. She has over a decade of experience working with international NGOs in more than 20 countries across education, health, civil society strengthening, agriculture, food security,  and governance programs. Jessica holds a Master’s degree from The New School and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Public Administration.

 

A Congolese native who lived through both wars, she witnessed the devastating impact of conflict, recognizing the urgent need for an effective diaspora engagement strategy to promote sustainable development. This experience inspired her to establish African Diaspora Connection and consultancy ADS.
