Congo Community Development Fund

The Congo Community Development Fund is a giving hub administered by Washington DC based nonprofit African Diaspora Connection (ADC) that mobilizes support for impactful initiatives led by Congolese diaspora organizations and local changemakers contributing to community development across the Democratic Republic of Congo. Through one-time or recurring contributions that can cost less than a cup of coffee a day, donors can help create lasting, sustainable change.

They are an independent, non-profit, non-political and non-religious citizens' initiative whose aim is to redefine humanitarian aid and development assistance.

Basanjda Coalition

Congo Basin, DRC

Basandja Coalition is a grassroots organization actively responding to the severe Bundibugyo Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). They work on the frontlines providing emergency prevention kits—including PPE, soap, and sanitation supplies—to women, children, and displaced residents in the North Kivu and Ituri provinces.

Africa New Day

Africa New Day is a non-profit, operating in Goma, Eastern DRC, determined to end the cycles of violence, poverty, and inequality fostered by lack of knowledge, bad governance, and the absence of opportunities through sustainable and long-term solutions. They offer various programs that center around education, advocacy, and economic development.

I Heart Africa

I Heart Africa is a nonprofit that provides school fees and a supportive village environment for orphans. They also offer training workshops on a range of topics and skill levels, including management skills for adults, entrepreneurship and enterprise, and nutrition.
