In collaboration with Sankofa Video, Books & Café, ADC organized another installment of its Congo on Our Mind series, exploring the role of immigrant and diaspora entrepreneurship, business ownership, and community-led economic development in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the United States.

The event brought together Congolese immigrant entrepreneurs, legal professionals, and diaspora business owners to discuss the opportunities and challenges they face, including access to resources, institutional support, and economic empowerment. Complemented by cultural performances, the gathering also celebrated African heritage, creativity, and artistic expression as powerful vehicles for connection and identity preservation.

Through this exchange, ADC reaffirmed its commitment to elevating immigrant and diaspora entrepreneurs, supporting local businesses, and advocating for community-led initiatives that foster economic opportunity, strengthen collective identity, and advance sustainable development both locally and abroad.
