October Congo On Our Mind Series in Partnership with Sankofa Bookstore and Cafe

In partnership with Sankofa Bookstore and Cafe in Washington DC, ADC is organizing another evening of community conversation and cultural expression on Sunday, October 18th, 2026 to highlight the work of incredible Congolese and diaspora change makers! Together, we’ll also explore how entrepreneurship, ownership, access to resources as well as support for local businesses can create jobs while strengthening sustainable, community-led economic development in the Congo and across the African diaspora. A special thank you to all of the distinguished panelists and participants for willing to be part of the event.
